“You were never created to live depressed, defeated, guilty, condemned, ashamed or unworthy. You were created to be victorious” — Unknown

Here at Tough Loving we believe that every young person should live life to the full, no matter what their circumstances or background.

We provide support and accommodation for homeless young people ages 18 - 25. While young people are with us we provide them with their own room in a safe environment. We support them to build their own bespoke care plan which will help identify any areas they need support with – this may include issues relating to debt, addiction, family breakdown, mental health issues, education, training, employment, offending, lack of confidence, physical health, support networks and other concerns that affect day to day happiness, health and wellbeing. We support young people with funding for essential study equipment, clothing, counselling, family mediation and provision to start a hobby or sport. We also help with pathways back into employment, training and education including volunteering, CV compilation and interview skills.

We believe that if young people engage with their care plan and accept the support on offer they can break free from the past that contributed to homelessness, this will hopefully help them become a strong functioning member of the community, contributing to society.
